How do you bill for your services?
- Our standard billing procedure is to bill at the completion of a project. We require payment upon receipt. All standard forms of payment are accepted including VISA/Mastercard/American Express.
What hours are you available?
- We are available during normal business hours, which are 9:00 to 5:00, Monday through Thursday and Fridays during tax season. We would be happy to make special arrangements for evening or weekend consultations.
What role do you play if the IRS audits me?
- Upon notification of audit by the IRS, we recommend you call us immediately. You should seek representation that is not emotionally involved in the audit process.
How much and what kind of preparation do you need for my return?
- We prefer that for individual tax preparation, the materials be summarized in an Organizer booklet that we will provide and we want to copy all source documents such as W-2's, 1099's, property tax statements, real estate closing documents, etc.
For businesses, your materials should be in a computer accounting program, but we have taken materials in almost every imaginable form. If the material is not in that format we will be happy to assist in that process. Contact us with questions about specific software packages.
